 Richings Park Bowls Club

Always a warm welcome from the club members

Welcome from the Club Captain

Welcome to the Richings Park Bowls Club web site. We are a small, friendly club located within the grounds of the Richings Park Sports Club. Please see our contact page for contact details and location.

If you are looking for some gentle exercise in a friendly atmosphere, then Lawn Bowls is the sport for you, and Richings Park Bowls Club is the place to be.

Lawn Bowls is an easy game to learn how to play, but a little more difficult one to master. The longer you play, the more you pick up the finer points of the game and the better you become. We are keen to welcome new members of all abilities, male or female, with experience of the game, or as a complete newcomer, free coaching available.

Friday evenings from 5.30pm are a good opportunity for anyone interested in trying the sport for the first time to come along for a taster session, meet our members and take the opportunity to look at the sports and social events facilities on offer. Bowls is a game for the young and not so young alike; all you need to start playing is a flat pair of shoes or trainers.

Teams are entered in the Thames Valley League, Ad-Fin, Bucks Plate and Bucks County League, with a number of our members also participating in County and National Competitions, however we also play a large number of weekend and mid-week friendly matches with other local clubs.

For more information about this amazing game, our training evenings or just to find out a bit more about the sport and the Club, please contact any of our Committee Members.
